Neighbor’s Table | Transformative Justice
Neighbor’s Table Podcast aims to facilitate restorative conversation around the realities of criminal justice and mass incarceration. Our prayer is that the church in America would know how to enter into these conversations, and that movement would start with listening to our neighbors. Something powerful happens when people listen to one another. We hope that love of neighbor leads to advocacy for those that society overlooks. Learn more at: neighbors-table.com

Sevin | God's Love for the Hood & Call to the Church
Wednesday Aug 07, 2024
Wednesday Aug 07, 2024
Although born in the Bay Area of California, and bouncing around a lot as a child, Sevin eventually landed in the gang infested city of Sacramento, California during the early 90's. Although Sevin's parents were in ministry, Sevin's desire for identity, community and brotherhood caused the gang culture to be able to seduce him, and at 13 he became an active member of the Oak Park Bloods. Through the story of Sevin’s redemption, God was able to transform brokenness and pain into healing and hope, filling Sevin with a heart full of love for his fellow man and a desire to see those trapped in the streets become set free by the Love of God. The LORD has used Sevin and the ministry he started, HOG MOB, to become a light to the hood. Today, HOG MOB shares the Gospel of healing and reconciliation to neighborhoods and communities all across the World.
